Traditionally in ancient India we used to crush, pound and rub herbs with stone to extract the trapped aroma and essential oils between fibre of herbs and spices. These essential oils are proven to have medicinal properties and cure many diseases naturally. Crushing, pounding with Natural Stone release the aroma and essential oils naturally which is well recognised by Aayurveda science. In this fast moving world we have replaced our traditional process by using mixer grinder which directly cuts the fibre of herbs giving us a paste which is good for nothing. The benefit of herbs and spices can only be harnessed if it is crushed and rubbed on pure natural Stone so that the essential oil comes organically.
